The first step in establishing a CARC is to equip local leaders to work together and heal tribal wounds. Before Connect Africa ever builds a resource center, it holds a conference in each prospective location. The staff meets with people where they live and holistically addresses the physical, spiritual, and regional problems they face every day. These conferences are a crucial step to healing long-standing tribal divisions that have historically kept communities divided and thwarted stability and growth.

Mobile conferences last for five days and the outreach portion often attracts up to 5,000 people per night. For the local leaders attending the conferences during the day, Connect Africa feeds up to 300 people for the duration of the conference.
